I said I'd be more active on dA, and I'm trying to take it seriously this time. And to start off, I'm cleaning up my deviations!

Now notice I didn't say "cleaning out" - meaning I'm not getting rid of EVERYTHING - I'm simply going through things I no longer need or desire.  My dozens of dozens of journals from my first years on deviantART? Deleted Older drawings? I'm gonna look through them and only keep my favorites. I want my name to be up-to-date on here  

I wanted to leave this update to show I am indeed active. There's still tons of art I wanna post here if I can get around to it

'Ey, I'm back

Sooo my last journal, saying how things were bad and it would be awhile before I did anything, may have actually helped me break the ice and made me more interested in dA again-!

So with that being said, I'm doing a little clean up: I've left old groups I felt I didn't identify with anymore aaaannndddd

I have closed my OOOOOLLDDD fan group for my once popular P&F characters, Jonathan and Joanna


Yes, I know. It's a little..

...and then some..  


Because it IS hard to close something that has so many memories, like, looking through the art I was getting SOOO emotional :'D

But, lets face it.

These two are DEAD

(I know, death is a strong word, but you know what I mean)

The Trevanna and friends fandom is gone. It was fun while it lasted, but I'm moving on. I'm not a Phineas and Ferb artist anymore, so why be associated with them so heavily still? (Not that I don't love the show and characters still, it's just in the past)

Though let's face it. Marcus and Trenace are never dying XD

JUST LOOK AT THEM, THEY'RE SO PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER LIKE THEIR CREATORS *cough*


But I assumed everyone would back me on this, since the name Josabella will be taking a new turn, so some changes must be made

I know, this journal has a very different tone from my last one, but life is a rollercoaster. You have your up and down days. I'm still having a rough time but trying to get through it all :'D

Hey, dA..... I'm alive

To be honest, things haven't been so great, on a number of levels, aaand my art game has gone down. I've been meaning to post some of the more traditional art I've kind of been working on, buuut it's just been a lot easier to post them to Instagram (@Josabella14). Hopefully, at the end of the summer when I'm not busy, things will change and I can start sharing my art again.

I feel bad for not coming on here, talking to you nice people and making connections, but I just can't do that right now. So much is wrong, and I'm no longer a social butterfly on media, talking with people just stresses me out.

And I'm sorry to say, but I'm basically a dead artist.

I don't know when things will get better, physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually, but don't get your hopes up about there being any art soon. Not that anyone would hope....

And I'm not asking for attention or comfort. I'm just stating the facts incase anyone is wondering what the heck happened to Josabella. She's been through a lot and just can't do deviantART right now.

Happy October, everyone!!!   Who's excited for fall, cozy clothes, cuddles, and Halloween?? I know I am!! (Though there will sadly be no cuddles for some of us..... *cough cough* Anyways....)

So, now that life is starting to straighten out more, I REALLY and SERIOUSLY want to do more with my art and expand the horizons by advertising it..... ELSEWHERE! C: Sooooo I'm starting to use Instagram, Twitter, and ultimately YouTube as a way of keeping up with me on a more daily basis! :3

Now I'm not gonna share my account names with you all just yet because I am still working on them and making them presentable :'D (Though I will let you know that "Josabella" with nothing else added was already taken as a username by someone else on some of these sites.... which REALLY ticks me off since it's MY artist name xD) But these accounts (except maybe YouTube) will be more personal, as well, so people will not only see my art, but also get a taste of my regular life (because, you know, I have real life friends on there xD) I won't make it TOO personal, though, that's what Facebook is for And I only trust a few online people to be my friends on FB, for safety reasons, you know? :'D

So out of curiosity, who here uses Instagram, Twitter, and/or YouTube? If so, could you give me a few pointers? :'D Not so much for Insta, but the others- if you have any advice or tips, I could really use them, so let me know!

But yeah, these other methods should get me going again so I'll be posting more work!!   It's just been hard to get out of the slump I've been in for so long :'D

ALSO..... I've read all my messages and all and I'd just REALLY like to thank you guys for being so sweet, like you guys just make my life <3 I'm just sorry I never reply because, honestly, I'm terrible at it :'D I don't know what it is, I just NEVER know what to say back, I become speechless!! All I can say is "I just love you all so much~ ," even though it seems like I'm giving you the cold shoulder, I'm not... just know that
